PHOTO | NASA publishes Earth picture taken from Mars
NASA admitted to having highlighted the color of the moon, as it is very dark and would not be visible to the same scale of Earth’s brightness
The National Administration of Aeronautics and Space, NASA, published on its website a photograph that represents a novelty: the Earth and the Moon seen from Mars, about 205 million kilometers distance.
The photograph, according to RT International, was taken on November 20, 2016 with the camera of the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment, which is installed on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.
NASA admitted to highlighting the color of the moon, as it is very dark and would not be visible to the same scale as Earth’s brightness.
In the photo you can see “the correct relation of size and position of one body with respect to the other”.
